At 08:27 on 4th November 2022 two fire engines attended Walney Road, Barrow-in-Furness. The incident was a road traffic collision with a casualty trapped inside a vehicle, who was extricated by firefighters by removing the roof of the vehicle. The casualty was transferred to hospital by ambulance. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
