Police are investigating an assault that happened in the area of Schneider Road, Sycamore Grove and Laburnum Crescent, Barrow.

It happened at about 8pm on Monday (October 31).

A boy, in his early teens, was assaulted by being punched in the face.

Officers want to trace two boys, both white and aged about 16. One had dark hair, the other had blonde hair. They were wearing dark clothes.

A group of teenagers was also present.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has any information to get in touch.
