Following new lines of enquiries officers investigating an assault occasioning actual bodily harm are appealing for witnesses.
The incident occurred on Sunday 2nd October at around 00:58am at Hollywood Nightclub on Cavendish Street, Barrow.
The incident involved a woman and man. The woman a 27-year-old sustained bruising and two small cuts to her right eye.
A 31-year-old man who has been arrested for assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released under investigation.
Police are looking for any witnesses to the offence.
