DALTON

Police are appealing for information following thefts of property from three vehicles in Dalton.

Two vans were targeted in Greystone Lane and a Ford Focus was targeted in Ennerdale Close.

The thefts happened between Friday October 29 and Saturday October 30.

BARROW

Police are investigating an assault on a woman, in her twenties, in Cavendish Street, Barrow.

It happened at about 4.20am on October 17.

Officers suspect the assault was carried out by a white man with short, dark hair, wearing a dark puffer jacket.

The woman was not seriously hurt in the incident.
