POLICE APPEALING FOR LOCAL WITNESSES

Barrow

Police are investigating an incident of theft that occurred between 2nd and 8th March, within the Moor Tarn Lane area of Barrow.

A Carrera mountain bike, described as white in colour, had front and rear lights along with mud guards on both wheels, was taken from the area.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 109 of 8 March.

Ulverston

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at Canal Head Garden Machinery, Ulverston.

The incident occurred between 4pm on 6 March and 8am on 8 March.

Access was attempted through the window of the property, causing damage. Access to the property was not successful and nothing was reported to have been taken.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2561 on 101, quoting incident number 34 of 8 March.
