At 20:30 on 4th September 2022, two fire engines attended an incident on Central Drive, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved wooden shelving inside a derelict building. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera at the incident. Crews were detained for one hour.
