A man has died in hospital following a collision on 14 November on North Road, Barrow. Police were contacted by NWAS reporting a collision shortly after 4.30pm on 14 November between a car – a Ford Ka – and a pedestrian. Neil Cole, 61, of Abbotsmead Approach, Barrow sadly died in hospital on 8 December.
Police are investigating two dwelling burglaries that occurred overnight between 17 and 18 December on Harrison Street and Lord Street, Barrow-in-Furness. A number of items were taken during the incidents. Police are looking for witnesses or anybody who has information relating to this incident.
