Park Play has launched in Cumbria – free fun and games for all

ParkPlay is a new Sport England-backed charity which offers free, fun games and activities in local parks and green spaces every Saturday morning in Cumbria, through working with Active Cumbria. ParkPlay brings together people of all ages and abilities to have fun together, with free games and activities ranging from football and dodgeball, to tag and frisbee. Sessions are tailored by PlayLeaders and vary from park to park, with anyone from the local community welcome to attend. No experience or skills are needed, and all equipment is provided. ParkPlay is now taking place in various venues across Cumbria – currently Millom, Ulverston, Askham, Aspatria, Wigton, Ormsgill, Barrow Park and Hammonds Pond, Carlisle. ParkPlay’s vision is for there to be a ParkPlay session within walking distance for everyone in Cumbria.

Please look at the website for more information, to sign up and for details of the Facebook pages for individual ParkPlay sessions
