At 20:57 hours on 15th July 2022, five fire engines and one Command Unit attended a fire at Sandscale Park, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved machinery and rubbish within a large commercial building. Firefighters used two main jets, two ground monitors, four breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Fire crews were in attendance for three hours and forty six minutes.
