Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision. The incident occurred at 8:25pm on Monday 27th December, on Abbey Road, Barrow. The location was adjacent to the entrance of the train station.
The collision involved a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a local male aged 49, was taken to Preston Hospital, with serious injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with dashcam footage.
