Silver Sunday is a national day when we think about older people and celebrate their contribution to society, and all over the country events are being held to bring people together to celebrate our older citizens.
The Forum in Barrow has been holding events for Silver Sunday for the past 10 years and this year they are working in partnership with Age UK Barrow to create a packed day of fun, free events – everything from Bingo, to a fashion show to armchair dancing and plenty of music, throughout the day – something for everyone.
