Police attended an incident of assault occasioning actual bodily harm near the statue outside McDonalds, Dalton Road, at 2.30pm on Sunday 1st August 2021.
It was reported that during an argument a 26-year-old old local male was grabbed from behind and thrown to the floor by another male, causing injury to victim’s face.
