Dalton
Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision and a subsequent affray, that occurred at Fell Croft in Dalton on the 14th April at around 6:25pm.
The collision involved three cars: A Seat Leon, a Peugeot and a Ford Focus. The Seat Leon is also reported to have been in collision with a building.
Involved in the affray were four people.
A local man in his 20’s was taken to Furness General hospital with minor injuries. He has since been released.
A 20-year-old man from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of:
- Possessing a controlled drug of Class A
- Failing to provide a specimen for analysis
- Using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance
- Possessions a sharp pointed article in a public place
- Aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving
- Failing to stop after a road accident
- Theft
- Driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence
He has been released under investigation.

Dalton in Furness
Police are investigating a fail to stop road traffic collision that occurred on Market Street at 6pm on the 17th April.
It was reported that a grey VW Golf was seen to collide with a white Mini Cooper that was parked, and damage was caused to the offside door mirror of the Mini.
Police are keen to speak to the witness of the incident who spoke to the owner of the damaged car and the driver of the Golf to come forward to support the CCTV footage already established.
