Detectives have charged two men with a string of alleged offences.

Kyle Pollitt, 19, of Blackpool, was charged with kidnap, assault ABH, sexual assault and two theft offences.

Jenson McBride, 19, of Manchester, was charged with kidnap, assault ABH and two theft offences.

The charges follow an investigation carried out in the Windermere area over the weekend (23- 25 February).

Both men appeared before Carlisle Magistrates court today (26 February).
