Cumbria County Council Fire Incidents: Building Fire, Aldingham (South Lakeland)

  At 21:18 hours on Monday 30th august 2021, three fire engines attended an outbuilding fire off of Coast Road, Aldingham, involving three garages. Firefighters used two hose reel jets augmented with a nearby hydrant and three breathing apparatus teams to extinguish the fires. Fire incidents – Abbey Road Barrow

  At 22:33 hours on 10th August 2021. Fire engines attended a fire in the kitchen of a property on Abbey Road in Barrow. One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation. Crews were in attendance for approximately fifty minutes.

Fire Incidents – Rescue of Persons, Bardsea (South Lakeland)

At 10:47 hours on Monday the 12th of April 2021, three fire engines attended an incident involving a person stuck in Mud on Brooklea in Bardsea. One casualty was rescued from quicksand by both fire service and hm coastguard personnel. Fire service remained on scene for approximately fifty minutes.
