Fire Incidents – Building Fire Rusland Crescent, Ulverston

  At 14:08 hours on 5th January 2022, one fire engine attended an incident on Rusland Crescent, Ulverston. One casualty was extricated from a domestic property by fire service personnel and conveyed to hospital by north west ambulance service. Crews were detained for thirty-five minutes.

  At 23:13 on 6th October 2021, three fire appliances attended an incident on Ramsden Street, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved a garage, crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets one main jet, breaking in gear and two thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained approximately one ninety minutes


Fire Incidents – Gas Leak, Ainsile St Barrow

  At 12:39 on 3rd October 2021 one fire engine attended a suspected gas leak at a property on Ainslie Dale, Dalton-in-Furness. Crews used one breathing apparatus and a gas monitor at the incident and were in attendance for twenty minutes.
