At 17:49 on 30th August 2022 three fire engines attended an incident on Abbotsmead Approach in Barrow. One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation on scene. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.

Road Traffic Collision, Barrow-in-Furness (Barrow-in-Furness) 16-08-2022 01:00 AM BST At 16:50 on 16th of August 2020, fire engines attended an incident on Salthouse Road, Barrow-in-Furness. The road traffic collision involved one vehicle. Firefighters used small tools to extricate one casualty from the vehicle. Crews were detained for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
Police are investigating a robbery which occurred in Barrow. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday 9 July.
