At 15:43 on 27th August 2022, three fire engines attended an incident on Newby Bridge Road Windermere. The fire involved one speed boat. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Firefighters administered first aid to one casualty. Crews were detained one hour.
