Barrow

Police are investigating a report of robbery that has occurred on Thwaite Street in Barrow on 30 December  at 1.20pm.

A 24-year-old man was arrested following the incident. He has since been bailed.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, specifically a woman who we believe was in the area and intervened during the incident.

Barrow

Police are investigating a report of robbery that has occurred near Hall Street car park in Barrow on 24 December at around 9.50pm.

Two men were arrested following the incident. Both were released on bail.

Ulverston

Police are investigating a GBH assault which took place on Market Street, Ulverston between the hours of midnight and 12.30am in the early hours of Saturday 23rd December 2023.

A man in his 20s from Ulverston sustained serious injuries which required hospital treatment.

Officers are appealing for anyone who have may have witnessed this assault or have any information about this assault to come forward.
