Following new lines of enquiry, police are appealing for information as part of an investigation into a serious assault. The incident took place at the junction of Cavendish Street and Preston Street, Barrow-in-Furness on 16th September at around 4am.
The reported incident involved two males. There were potentially a number of people in the area who would have witnessed the incident or after the incident.
A local male in his early twenties received serious, non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Officers are looking to identify a male believe to have been involved in the incident. He is described as white, with short brown hair. He wore a black t-shirt, black skinny fit jeans and dark trainers.
Police are also appealing for two men who witnessed the incident, to come forward to assist with enquiries.
Male one is described as, white and wearing a black t shirt, with a bright coloured jacket tied round his waist and dark jeans.
Male two is described as white and wearing denim shorts and a grey hooded jacket.
