Police are investigating an incident that occurred on 29 July between 11:30pm and midnight on Dalton Road in Barrow-in-Furness, between the junctions of Cavendish Street and Preston Street.

The incident involved a man and woman and three men. One of the men who in the group of three suffered a head injury.

A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm. He has been released under investigation.

Police are appealing for information from any witnesses to assist in this investigation.
