A man in his 30’s from Barrow, has been arrested on suspicion of GBH Assault following an incident on Crellin Street, Barrow at approximately 6pm on Friday the 29th of April.
The man has been released under investigation.
The incident involved two men.
The incident is reported to involve two men in their thirties. One man was driving down Crellin Street, when the incident occurred. The car has reportedly been hit by an item, so the car stopped. One man has then been hit on the head causing cuts that needed medical attention.
Police are appealing for witnesses, members of the public were reported to have intervened during the incident and anyone in the area around that time and any cars that have dashcam footage.
