Police are investigating an arson and burglary at the site of Ulverston Post Office depot, County Square in Ulverston.

It happened on Sunday November 6 at 9pm.

Firefighters attended a report of a fire at the back of the Post Office. A pile of papers were alight and they were extinguished.

It was also established part of the building had been entered and damage had been caused inside.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with information to come forward.
