Domestic Property Fire, Barrow-in-Furness (Barrow-in-Furness)
At 19:25 hours on the 24th of December 2022 two fire engines attended a domestic property fire on Langdale Grove, Barrow in Furness. Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fan to bring the fire under control. Crews were in attendance for thirty minutes.
At 21:42 hours on 26th December 2022 two fire engines from attended a fire on Cartmel Road Grange-Over-Sands. The fire involved one camper van. Fire fighters used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for two hours.
Road Traffic Collision (South Lakeland)
At 1603 hours on 26th December 2022, four fire engines were mobilised to a road traffic collision on the M6 southbound between junctions 36 and 35. One casualty was extricated by crews using cutting gear. Fire service personnel were in attendance for approximately fifty minutes.
