Police are releasing CCTV footage as part of an investigation into a residential burglary that occurred between 4am and 5:30am on 24th May 2023 on Adelaide Street, Barrow.

The investigation relates to three occasions in which an unknown person has entered a property whilst the occupant has been asleep, waking the occupant on the third visit by entering the occupant’s bedroom.

They have left in the direction of Chatsworth Street.

Gold coins and collectible coins were taken during the incident as well as the occupant’s wallet.

Detectives are looking to identify the person in the footage to assist with their investigations.

Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of Adelaide Street during this time, or residents with CCTV and doorbell footage. If you were also driving in the area at the time and have dashcam please get in touch.
