Barrow Poverty Truth Commission is an initiative in Barrow in Furness that has been launched to help people in poverty.
In September 2020 Barrow Borough Council declared a poverty emergency. The Poverty Truth Commission aims to help people over the next two years, ensuring that the voices of those who are in a poverty, or who have lived experiences with poverty are listened to by organisations and people that have the power and the ability to create solutions.
