Andrea Williams is the voice behind CANDOFM’s Wednesday Afternoon Show, bringing energy, warmth and a genuine love of community to the airwaves each week.

As a Manager at CANDOFM, Andrea plays a key role in shaping the station’s community outreach and engagement. She project-manages a wide range of community initiatives, organises live stage events and outdoor broadcasts, and is passionate about creating opportunities for people to get involved in radio. From mentoring new volunteers to supporting community partners, Andrea is dedicated to helping others find their voice and build confidence on and off air.

Her Wednesday Afternoon Show reflects that same spirit — a lively mix of music, local stories and feel-good moments that keep listeners connected across Furness and beyond.

When she’s not at the studio, Andrea can usually be found out on the fells or walking along the beaches with her black cocker spaniel, Bertie — recharging in the great outdoors before the next busy week at CANDOFM.
