Police are investigating the theft of a mobile phone.

It happened on Bridgegate Avenue, Barrow, at about 8.15pm on June 30.

The phone was taken from a wall, reportedly by a group of five teenagers, all male and about 15 or 16-years-old.

One of this group was wearing a balaclava-type face covering with goggles.
