Commissioner congratulates Chief Constable on OBE

Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC), Peter McCall, congratulates Chief Constable Michelle Skeer on being awarded an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE). This is the first of His Majesty King Charles III’s first Birthday Honours List as King.

 

PFCC Peter McCall, said: “I am delighted to note that Chief Constable Michelle Skeer QPM has been awarded the OBE in HM The King’s first Birthday Honours List.  This richly deserved award reflects both her 33 years public Service here in Cumbria but also her contribution to policing nationally and the hard work of all officers and staff of Cumbria Police who I know will be most proud of this public recognition and will join me in offering our very warm congratulations.”
