Police are investigating a public order offence which occurred in Askam.
A woman, aged in her 60s, was subjected to verbal abuse by a man standing close to her as she was taking cash out a cash machine on Duke Street.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:50am on 3 February.
The male is described as being aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 3, slim build, with very short dark hair and stubble. He was wearing a two-tone black and grey waterproof jacket, with a black hood, and black jeans.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may be able to identify the suspect contacts them.
