At 15:52 hours on the 8th August 2022, five fire engines from Cumbria fire and rescue and Lancashire fire and rescue attended an incident in Hale, Milnthorpe involving a barn at a domestic property. Fire fighters used two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and foam to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for three hours and forty minutes.
