At 13:18 hours on Wednesday 8th September 2021, three fire appliances from Barrow and Ulverston were called to reports of a domestic property fire on Talisman Close, Barrow-in-Furness. Firefighters rescued one casualty, using six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one safety jet. Firefighters also administered oxygen therapy on scene, and one casualty was passed on to the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
