It’s the big local rugby league derby in League 1 this coming Sunday as top of the table Barrow Raiders take on second placed Workington Town at Derwent Park. The teams drew 24-24 just a few weeks ago at a vibrant Craven Park and the same competitive encounter is expected in this return fixture.

This week Dave Nixon ex Chairman of Barrow Raiders and current chair of the community arm ‘Advantage’ provides the perspective from the Raiders point of view and Sports correspondent for the Times and Star and lifelong Town fan Callum Linford provides the Town’s perspective.
