As a result of ASLEF strike action, there will be no Northern services on Thursday 9 May.

Additional disruption is expected between 29 April – 4 May and 6 May – 11 May, due to action short of strike called by ASLEF where some short notice amendments may take place. 

If travelling with Northern, or connecting onto other services across the country, check before you travel as industrial action may affect multiple parts of your journey.

Some Northern services are expected to be very busy on routes shared with other train operators.

6-11 May – Check before travelling – Majority of services will be running as planned on these days, but please check before travelling, as close to the time as possible as short notice cancellations are likely.
