Local Coastguard Teams Assist Police in Foreshore Incident at Silecroft

Millom Coastguard Rescue Team and Furness Coastguard were swiftly mobilised yesterday evening, February 25, 2024, at 17:35, to aid Cumbria Police in responding to an incident on the foreshore at Silecroft. The urgency of the situation also prompted the Haverigg Inshore Rescue Team to stand by for immediate launch if their assistance became necessary.
