Police appeal for witnesses following two collisions in Barrow and Dalton

Police investigating two separate collisions in the Barrow and Dalton areas are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The first incident was reported to police at around 3:35am this morning (30 Nov) and involved a vehicle which had crashed on Thwaite Flat Road, Barrow and was subsequently set on fire.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.

Officers are also appealing for witnesses following a second single vehicle collision which happened on Railway Terrace, Dalton at around 6:15am this morning (30 Nov).

The collision involved a black BMW which collided with a brick wall and a fence.

In both incidents, police are concerned for the welfare of the driver and believe the drivers left the vehicle, potentially suffering injuries.
