A burglary occurred on 30th October 2023 at approximately 6.30pm at an address in Haverthwaite, Ulverston.
A young male was seen running from the direction of the property towards a grey/silver hatchback and with another male driving who a witness has heard shouting with a Merseyside accent.
The victim has heard a car alarm going off and seen hazard lights flashing and has found his vehicle has been broken into and gardening equipment taken from the car.
Equipment was also taken from the rear of the vehicle and from a building on the property. The vehicle drove off in the direction of Rusland.
Property taken included two Honda lawnmowers, two Stile strimmers, a chainsaw, a Stile leaf blower and two Stile hedge trimmers.
The victim’s pick-up truck was also damaged.
One of those involved had a Merseyside accent. The other is described as young, slim, with short hair and was wearing a hoodie and dark trousers.
