We are thrilled to share an update on the multimedia studio and community facility project that the Asda Foundation so generously funded. Their crucial support has allowed us to bring our visions to life and transform our 168 sqm space into a vibrant hub for creativity, empowerment, and social cohesion.

After receiving the funds, we got straight to work converting the interior into a welcoming facility. Asda’s contribution covered the vital soundproofing materials we needed to divide the space into a public lounge area and a separate broadcast studio.. We’ve already broadcast  dozens of programmes featuring community members sharing their experiences, talents, and calls to action. It’s been so inspiring to provide a platform for these untold stories.

Future plans include using our studio to host regular open mic nights where local musicians, poets, and comedians take the stage, as well as workshops where we teach community members skills like video editing and sound engineering. 

None of this would have been possible without the Asda Foundation’s generous support. Their funding is helping to turn our vision into a reality and allows us to open up a world of opportunities for our community. We’re very grateful for their invaluable contribution to this project
