On 15th July 2021 at 13:20 hours a fire engine from Ulverston attended Oakwood drive, Ulverston. One casualty was released from a wooden frame by fire service personnel using spreaders. Fire service remained at scene for ten minutes.
At 10:26 hours on Thursday 8th July three fire engines attended Pennington Ulverston. Fire involved a barn and a large amount of hay. Hay bales removed by farmer using heavy machinery.
