Cumbria Fire and Rescue: Building Fire in Windermere

At 16:06 hours on 12th July, two fire engines attended an incident on Storrs Park, Windermere. The incident involved an outbuilding approximately ten metres by five metres. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and hooligan tool to bring the fire under control and were in attendance for thirty minutes.


Fire Incidents – Person trapped under car, Church Walk, Ulverston

At 08:50 on 28th June 2022, three fire engines attended an incident on Church Walk, Ulverston. The incident involved one casualty trapped under a car door. Firefighters extricated one casualty from under the vehicle. Crews were detained for approximately thirty minutes.


Cumbria County Council Fire Incidents – 17th June 2022

At 18:39 hours on June 16th 2022 two fire engines attended a domestic building fire on Storey Square Barrow in Furness. This was a pan fire in the kitchen and crews used two breathing apparatus one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera. Crews were in attendance for thirty minutes.
