Paula is often known as the left side of the popular Ukes2 duo who have for a number of years playing at various gigs in the area, supporting local charities and mic nights with their up tempo covers and general supportive aura.

Paula has been a keen member of Cando since December 2017 when she and her Mum Joan (the right side of Ukes2) started presenting and then was asked to become a Director in July 2018 after being involved with technical and background activities of Cando.

Ukes2 have feel good hours throughout the week often giggling about their experiences and memories from around Barrow and the antics they get up to.  Being a mother and daughter they have a strong bond and are often seen out and about giggling over something.

When not at the studio Paula is a civil servant but likes nothing better than being with her husband John who is also a volunteer with CandoFM and spending time with her Mum, Dad and family where they can relax with their dogs, go off caravanning together and enjoy making memories to share over tea and cake ?
