Officers would like to thank members of the public who responded to an appeal for information yesterday, following the death of a woman in her 70’s at Surprise View, Borrowdale.

The incident occurred just before 6:13pm on Friday, (26th Aug).

Police, ambulance, Mountain Rescue and HeliMed attended the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The file has been passed to the Coroner.
