Two people appeared court today after they were charged by officers investigating a series of burglaries in Barrow.
Darren Hughes, 51 of Barrow, was charged with burglary and two counts of receiving stolen goods.
Lisa Beattie, 36, also of Barrow has been charged with three counts of receiving stolen goods.
Both appeared before Barrow Magistrates Court today (24 July). Hughes was remanded into custody and Beattie was released on bail. Both are next due to appear at Preston Crown Court on 21 August.
