Two men have been charged following an assault in Wasdale Grove, Barrow, at 2:19pm on the March 6th.

A 38-year-old local man suffered a stab wound during the incident. He remains in Preston hospital in a critical condition.

Dean Bossio, 36, of School Street, Barrow has been charged with Affray.

A 17-year-old male from Barrow, has been charged with S18: wounding with intent.

They have been remanded to appear at Barrow Magistrates Court today (8th March).

A 49-year-old woman, a 16-year-old male and a 38-year-old man, all from Barrow, who were arrested during the incident have been released on bail until the 3rd April.
