On this week’s Sportzone show joining Tony Colyer will be Chairman of Barrow Raiders Steve Neale is the guest where he reflects upon the defeat at the weekend by NW Crusaders and what needs to be improved to gain victory at Doncaster this Sunday.
Steve also advises the latest thinking on the restructuring discussions which are taking place between all clubs and the RFL and the impact this may have on the future strategy/opportunities for the Raiders.
Steve gave up a well paid job at BAE systems to take up the role of CEO at the club informs us of the positive Impact this has had on turnover.
Recent utilisation of Craven Park and the erection of a Marquee have certainly paid dividends with significant crowds attending the Euro’s events/music festivals and the upcoming Octoberfest/DJ concert is almost sold out!
Steve is pleased with the progress made and in particular the achievement of Charitable status for The Raiders ‘ Advantage’ community arm and the integration of Barrow Ladies into the club as a springboard for promotion to Super League.
