On this week’s Sportzone show Tony Colyer talks to the returning ‘Marathon Man’ Dan Hayes following his successful completion of the London Marathon last Sunday.
Dan is well known in the town for his magnificent exploits raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) following the death of his good friend Gordon Cooney and last week Dan completed his 3rd London Marathon once again raising funds for the MND charity.
Dan advises the process you have to go through to enter and tells us of his experience from leaving his house to running the marathon and returning home.
Dan ran with a special purpose this time promoting the Rob Burrow charity and has raised several thousand pounds as a result and has also auctioned off a signed shirt from Rob.
