On the Sportzone chat show this week Craig Rutherford Manager of Barrow AFC Community trust tells us about the fantastic 24 hour football match event he organised to raise funds for improving local football facilities and also improvement to the disability facilities down at Holker St.

He also advises us about the new Academy structure being set up at Under 16 and Under 18 Levels at the club with pathways to the professional ranks.

Craig reflects on the season past and advises us of his personal aspirations for the future now that he won’t be involved as part of the coaching team on matchdays under the new stewardship of Mark Cooper.
