On this week’s Sportzone show Tony Colyer is joined by Keith Allen Director of Hawcoat Park with responsibility for Tennis and the resident tennis coach Stefan Jones.
Keith advises about the funding journey to develop the fantastic tennis facilities at Hawcoat Park with the development of 9 tennis courts ( 6 all weather and 3 grass) and how members of the club and the general public can book the hire of the courts through the clubs website.
Stefan is a Level 4 /primary coach in Cumbria and and runs a number of coaching sessions in particular for children ranging from 4 years old to senior age level and talks about the coaching tools and techniques deployed designed to find the next Wimbledon champion!
