Barrow-in-Furness, UK – BAE Systems is due to move two heavy loads by road on Wednesday, 1 March.

The first load will be moved at approximately 9.30am from Associated British Ports (ABP) to the shipyard’s Central Yard Complex. The second, from 1.30pm, will go from ABP to the Top Yard.

Cumbria Constabulary will also be temporarily closing Michaelson Road and part of Bridge Road to allow the moves to take place. They are likely to be closed for 30 mins for the first move and approximately one hour for the second move.
