Police investigate man for robbery and brandishing a pocket knife in Barrow

Police are investigating which occurred on Thursday 13th October 2022 outside Asda, Walney Road, Barrow-in-Furness. This occurred around 8.30pm.

Police received a report that a man had produced a pocketknife after being challenged about allegedly stealing a television.

A man in his 40s and from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and theft. He was subsequently released under investigation whilst officers continue with their enquiries.

Police are looking for any witnesses of the incident as well as any dash cam footage of the incident.

The suspect from the incident was a white man in his 40s. He was wearing a light-grey jumper, dark trousers and a black woolly hat.
